Vancouver, BC - Fortune Sound Club celebrated of nine years of Happy Ending Fridays on April 13 with Georgia natives Gunna and London On Da Track taking part in the celebration.
It’s easy to say Gunna has developed into a performer who can dish out top tier presentations of his art. The man behind the Drip Season tapes is sneaky good behind a microphone in a live setting. He sounded crisp. He sounded precise. He sounded like the Gunna you're used to listening to in your headphones. He serenaded to a sold out crowd that was ready to sing along to songs like “Top”, “Mistress”, “Car Sick”, and more.
The Young Thug protégé also interacted with the crowd in a way that felt genuine. The people wanted Gunna and he recognized the situation and accommodated the audience giving them a bang for their buck performance.
Those fortunate enough to witness the hour-long spectacle Gunna laid out were serenaded with his catalogue of hood melodies. For an artist who is often associated with Young Thug it wasn't hard to see the similarities.
The night concluded with Atlanta producer London On Da Track taking the reigns behind the booth and maintaining the energy for the people who were looking to keep the party going. London delivered an experience for attendees and helped finish off yet another successful Happy Ending Friday in Chinatown.
