The Met Gala is a fundraiser for the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute of New York City and it took place this past Monday. As expected, all the hottest stars came out dressed to impress.

The Gala - formerly named the Costume Institute Gala - has over the years evolved into the Supebowl of fashion events. The theme for the 2017 Met Gala was Rei Kawakubo/Comme des Garçons and brought out some of the best outfits the annual event has ever seen.

This week our style article moves from street wear to formal wear. Read on for pics of the Migos looking especially Bad and Boujee and our undecided choice for the best look of the night - Nicki or Rih?

Check out our top 10 list of What Your Favourite Stars Were Wearing On Instagram This Week: Met Gala edition below.

Nicki completely slays the Gala in her black and red dress by H&M featuring a long train and a deep v-neck line paired with a custom belt featuring Rei Kawakubo’s face as an homage to the celebrated designer of the evening. The open front dressed revealed the artists gorgeous and perfect legs and a pair of double strap Versace heels.

2. @badgalriri

Riri makes our list ONCE AGAIN with her drop dead gorgeous gala ‘fit. She wears a short petal-covered dress from the Comme des Garçons’ 2017 couture line with thigh high scrappy stiletto red heels. Rihanna leaned right into this years over the top theme and earned the hypothetical Queen of the Met Gala crown for the second year in a row.
